How to Make Baked BBQ Chicken Tenders

Baking chicken tenders is a healthy option that still is full of flavor. This BBQ version adds a fresh tang the whole family will enjoy.

Step-By-Step Instructions:

  1. Preheat your oven to 400 degrees F. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper. 

  2. In a bowl, whisk together tomato sauce, apple cider vinegar, Dijon mustard, honey, smoked paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, kosher salt, and black pepper.  

  3. Set aside half of the BBQ sauce for later use. 

  4. Place the chicken tenders in a resealable plastic bag or shallow dish. 

  5. Pour the other half of the BBQ sauce mixture over the chicken tenders. Seal the bag or cover the dish and let the chicken marinate in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes. 

  6. Arrange the chicken tenders on the prepared baking sheet. 

  7. Bake in the preheated oven for about 20 minutes or until the chicken is cooked through, flipping halfway through. 

  8. Serve with remaining BBQ sauce.
