Whole grain brown rice is an easy side dish and quick way to add an extra serving of whole grains to your meals. Use it as a base for stir fries or with fish or chicken. This recipe is for 2 servings but it can easily be doubled or tripled.
Place water in a small saucepan and bring to a boil.
Add the rice, stir and cover. Turn down the heat and allow the rice to simmer for about 20 minutes, or until all the liquid is absorbed and the rice is tender.
