Baked Apples are a delicious treat to make in the fall. Using the natural sweetness of apples, this recipe can be a diabetes-friendly dessert.

Step-By-Step Instructions:

  1. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F. Cover a 9x9 inch baking dish with parchment paper. 

  2. Place apple slices in the prepared baking dish, drizzle with syrup, and sprinkle with cinnamon and nutmeg.  

  3. Stir to evenly coat the apples. 

  4. Bake for 25 to 30 minutes or until the apples are tender. Serve warm.
