Step-By-Step Instructions:

  1. Preheat your oven to 400 degrees F and prepare a baking sheet with parchment paper or a light coating of cooking spray (optional). 

  2. Drain and rinse two cans of chickpeas, then gently pat them dry with a paper towel to remove excess moisture. Dry chickpeas will become crispier during roasting. 

  3. In a mixing bowl, toss the dried chickpeas with one tablespoon of olive oil, ensuring they are evenly coated. 

  4. In another bowl, create a spicy seasoning mixture by combining 1/4 cup of hot sauce, 1/2 teaspoon of garlic powder, 1/2 teaspoon of onion powder, 1/2 teaspoon of paprika, 1/2 teaspoon of cayenne pepper (adjust to your spice preference), and pepper. 

  5. Add the seasoned hot sauce mixture to the chickpeas, ensuring they are well-coated with the flavorful seasoning. 

  6. Spread the seasoned chickpeas onto the prepared baking sheet, ensuring they are in a single layer. 

  7. Bake the chickpeas in the preheated oven for about 55 minutes, or until they become crispy. Be sure to stir or shake the pan every 10-15 minutes for even cooking. 

  8. Once the chickpeas are crispy and have absorbed the Buffalo flavor, remove them from the oven and allow them to cool slightly.
