This slider recipe calls for ground chicken, but lean ground turkey would also work well. Offer these cute sliders for an appetizer or snack next time you host a barbecue!
Preheat an indoor or outdoor grill.
In a medium bowl combine the ground chicken, egg, oatmeal, paprika, chili powder and pepper. Mix well.
Divide the meat mixture into 6 equal portions and press into patties.
Grill the sliders on one side for 4-5 minutes. Flip the sliders and brush them with 2 tbsp. barbeque sauce. Continue grilling for 4 – 5 minutes and flip again. Brush with the remaining BBQ sauce. Grill for another 2-3 minutes or until the burgers are cooked through. They should reach an internal temperature of 165°F.
Open the slider buns. Place a burger on each bottom half. Top each with a piece of lettuce and a slice of tomato.
