How to Make Garlic Sesame Pork Tenderloin
This quick and easy pork tenderloin recipe gets its savory flavor from a garlic sesame marinade. The tenderloin is cut into slices and pan-seared so it cooks up faster than roasting the whole tenderloin. For a lighter, low carb version of a classic “meat and potatoes” meal, pair this pork tenderloin with our low carb Cauliflower Mashed “Potatoes” and Roasted Asparagus with Parmesan.

Step-By-Step Instructions:
Remove any silver skin from the pork with a sharp knife. Slice the pork into ½” thick medallions.
In a medium bowl, mix the remaining ingredients. Add the pork and toss with the marinade. Cover and put in the fridge for 20 minutes to marinate.
Preheat your oven to 450 degrees F.
Heat a large ovenproof skillet over medium-high heat. Spray with cooking spray. Add the pork and sear for 1 minute per side or until golden brown.
Put the skillet in your preheated oven and cook for 5 minutes. Flip the pork and cook for 5 minutes or until a thermometer inserted into the thickest part reads 145 degrees F.
This recipe turned out poorly. After cooking, the pork was unattractive and dull, so I added green onions for color. I double-checked the temp (450 F), time (12 min), and internal temperature (145 degrees F). However, the meat was rubbery and tasteless. The garlic was uncooked. A serrated knife had to be used to cut through it. My husband left the table. He returned and added a tablespoon of Baby Ray's BBQ sauce to help it slide down. We concluded the taste was not to our liking and decided that Asian-style sesame pork is ten times better at the local Chinese restaurant. We were hungry an hour later.

Loved these, this is a great dish to make when you are pressed for time. I couldn't believe something so easy to make was so flavorful. I put the pork in the oven with my asparagus so that they could get nice and toasty because I like my meat crispy.
