Step-By-Step Instructions:

  1. Wash and peel the carrots. 

  2. Cut them into slices, sticks, or small pieces so they cook evenly.

  3. Place a steamer basket in a pot and add about an inch of water. 

  4. Bring the water to a boil over medium heat. 

  5. Add the carrots to the steamer basket and cover the pot with a lid. 

  6. Steam the carrots for about 5–10 minutes, or until they are tender when you poke them with a fork. 

  7. Remove from the heat and serve warm.
