Delicious!

It turned out wonderfully delicious! I used all the ingredients listed, but I substituted regular milk with unsweetened almond milk. Instead of covering the dish, I left it uncovered in the oven for 50 minutes instead of an hour, and it came out firm and cheesy not mushy. Next time, I plan to add spinach too! 😋

Substitutes

I sub the bread crumbs with the equivalent of hash browns about a 1/4 of a cup. I added spinach too.

Not recommended

The bead makes it super mushy. I might try it again using hash browns instead of bread.

I didn't like the bread added to the recipe. It throws off the texture and makes it mushy.
